With the legalization in the United States and several other countries CBD Oil use is well on its way to popularity. The big question here is what is the CBD Oil Dosage that we need to take? I want to help you to understand how much CBD Oil may be right for you and how you might find that sweet spot.  I know when I first started taking CBD Oil I was frustrated with the answers I received when asking how much CBD I should be taking. It seems that my answers were very vague, and I did not understand why it was so hard to pinpoint a particular supplemental amount of this substance. You may be feeling the same way and with my extensive research in this area, I have found the best answer possible, and I want to help you understand my findings. I want to share with you why it is important to find what people are now calling the sweet spot and why it is important to take the correct amount of CBD. So why is it so hard to get a straight answer when asking what is the correct CBD Oil Dosage? The biggest reason I found, is it actually depends on your own body and how your endocannabinoid system reacts to the legal substance known as CBD Hemp Oil.

Know How To Read The Bottle

Know How To Read The Label

The most important factor to consider when trying to understand and find the correct CBD Oil Dosage is knowing what your bottle of CBD contains, as not all CBD Hemp Oils out on the market are created equal. Many of us are mathematically challenged and determining how much CBD is actually in the bottle can be quite daunting for a lot of us. I found a really easy way to help you understand and want to share that with you, so you too, will be able to understand how much CBD that you should be taking on a daily basis. Let’s look at a 1oz bottle of CBD Hemp Oil and determine what is in the bottle and what the all the information means. To start off I found that a one-ounce bottle is made up of 3000mg of oil, so what does this mean if you have a 500mg bottle of CBD? This means that you bottle of CBD is 500mg of CBD Hemp Oil and 2500mg of a carrier oil. So take a look at a bottle of 1500mg this would be comprised of equal parts 1500mg of CBD and 1500mg of carrier oil in a one-ounce bottle. This is an important factor when determining how much CBD is actually in that bottle you just purchased. Moving on you may find that in a one-ounce bottle of CBD Hemp Oil that 20mg equal one serving and there is 25 servings in a bottle, so how much is a serving you ask? Most generally one dropper is made up of approximately 30-35 drops of oil. So what does this all mean? It means for each dropper full of the 500mg you are receiving 20mg of CBD Oil and 100mg of carrier oil in each dropper full. This is because if we take the 3000mg of a whole one-ounce bottle and divide it by 25 servings in a bottle you come up with 120mg total per serving. Making it easier we will look at the 1500mg again. At a 50/50 ratio 60mg of CBD Hemp Oil and 60mg of carrier oil in each serving again adding up to the 120mg for a dropper full providing there is 25 servings in a bottle.

What Is In Your CBD Hemp Oil

The quality of your CBD Hemp Oil depends greatly on how it is extracted, what parts of the plant they use, and what carrier oil is used in bottling your supplement. Make sure you get the 3rd party testing to know what is in your bottle of CBD Hemp Oil. A company with a QR code right on the bottle makes this easy to scan and see exactly what you have in your bottle of CBD Hemp Oil. When extraction is taken from the whole plant, to include, flowers, leaves and stalks, this is known as a full spectrum CBD Hemp Oil, which is more desirable and has a better medicinal benefit than isolates or oils derived from just the stalks. Helping you to understand the benefits of a full spectrum CBD Hemp Oil, is an extract of the active cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids present in a medicinal hemp plant containing high levels of CBD and very low levels of THC. This is unlike what we know about the illegal cannabis plant that produces marijuana having higher levels of the THC compound with lower level of CBD. To increase the quality of a full spectrum CBD Hemp Oil, it is important to make sure the manufacture is using the super critical C02 extraction technique, which is more expensive for the manufacturer; however, creates a better-quality oil. The last important factor of determining what is in your bottle of CBD Hemp oil, is the carrier oil that used. Carrier oils can vary depending on your manufacturer and you can end up with hemp seed oil, coconut oil and I have even heard of them putting in canola oil, which happens to cause inflammation in many people.  My preference for a full entourage effect would be a carrier oil from hemp seeds, as it has healthy qualities of its own and know to be the perfect ratio of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids.

Determining The Right CBD Oil Dosage

Now that we have determined how to understand the milligram usage on the bottle and understand what is in your CBD Hemp Oil we can move on to determine what might be the best amount of this supplement to use. The use of CBD Hemp Oil supplement is best by personalizing your supplement and determining what best works for you. The appropriate supplement regimen depends on the person and what the determining factor is for using this supplement. There are three different levels of use, resulting in micro, standard and macro. Each of these levels depends on what you need to use the supplement for. Is it just for sleeping better, anxiety, or such things more critical such as epilepsy? With the current wave of legalization, many doctors are reluctant to prescribe cannabinoids because they do not know what dose to prescribe. After all, medical schools do not usually cover CBD (cannabidiol) in their pharmacology courses. Scientists are working to develop dosing programs for both marijuana and medicinal hemp extracts; however, remains inconclusive, depending on how your body processes the supplement. At the present, the FDA in the United States, does not even recognize CBD Hemp Oil as a medicine, but as a supplement or food-type product, so everything is still in the air.

Micro, Standard Or Macro Dosage

The truth is that there is no strict rule that can help us facilitate measurement. Knowing the weight and height can give certain indicators of the daily requirements, however, the biological composition, specific symptoms and especially the prolonged use of drugs with strong adverse effects could affect the effectiveness of CBD oil. The CBD Oil brands are creating a lot of confusion among consumers, because each one has different standards. Many of them recommend too much as “portion” and others too little. Here is the best information that I found and what I use when determining the best amount of supplement to use. All calculations are for a one-ounce bottle off full spectrum CBD Hemp Oil. Micro: 500mg – 750mg, taking .05mg to 20mg for each dose 2 to 3 times per day

  • Uses: Sleep, headache, nausea, stress, PTSD and metabolic disorders

Standard: 750mg-1000mg, taking 10mg – 100mg for each dose 2 to 3 times a day

  • Uses: pain and inflammation, autoimmune disorders, anxiety and depression, arthritis, IBS, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, autism and weight loss

Macro: 1000mg – 1500mg, taking 50mg – 800mg for each dose 2 to 3 times a day

  • Uses: cancer, epilepsy, seizures, liver disease or severe life-threatening diseases

Micro Standard or Macro - Start Low and Slow
As you can see depending on what benefits you are looking for depends on what amount of CBD Hemp Oil supplement that might be right for you. Always listen to your body and see how it reacts. Even though, CBD Hemp Oil is perfectly safe and is a great choice for many different issues you encounter, sometimes taking too much can create adverse effects, resulting in mood issues, anxiety, dry mouth, dizziness or weakness. You may also just waste the supplement when taking too much, resulting in costing you more to maintain the supplement.

Start Low With Small Doses

The endocannabinoid system is different in each one of us, so the dosage can vary. That is, some people can get a calming effect with 3mg twice a day, while others approach or even exceed 200mg four times a day. It is therefore, very important to understand your body system in order to regulate the adequate dose of CBD Hemp Oil you consume. The best way to find the most appropriate dose for each one is to start with small doses and gradually adjust them. For those who are new to cannabis use, perhaps try a couple drops twice a day for a series of four days and see how you feel, If you feel you need more raise it a couple more drops and continue this cycle until you feel you have reached you goal. I found that when I was taking too much I felt a bit antsy, so backed off and now it is working fantastic.

How To Find Your Sweet Spot

Another way to determine how to find your sweet spot by micro-dosing. This theory revolves around the development by Dr Dustin Sulak, DO. Dr Sulak is a diplomat of the American Academy of Cannabinoid medicine as has done extensive studies on cannabis and the endocannabinoid system. So how does micro-dosing work? I would say you really need to be in-tune with your body and make sure you are logging each hour you take the CBD Hemp Oil. To begin, if you have been taking CBD Hemp Oil previously stop taking it for a couple days before you begin for more accurate results. If you have not used CBD Hemp Oil try starting low and slow first for a couple weeks before attempting to find your sweet spot by micro-dosing, this allows the time to get your endocannabinoid system working. Dr Sulak suggests taking CBD every hour till you find results: 1st hour – take one drop 2nd hour – take two drops 3rd hour – take three drops 4th hour – take four drops Continue this until you have found you desired amounts if you still are not finding results after the first day then start the next day where you left off, so if you continued this cycle for 14 hours on the first day ending with 14 drops for the last hour, start the next morning out with 15 drops and continue increasing by one drop per hour. Once you have discovered you are have found you desired amount then add up all the drops for the last four hours and that should be your sweet spot and you can take this determined amount 2 to 3 times daily.

Check With Your Doctor

Your doctor is always there to give you proper guidance and counselling in regard to your health. The use of CBD is not an exception. Tell your doctor why you want to start taking CBD Hemp Oil to help him determine what is best for you. If you are on other medications that require abstinence of grapefruit, it is important to consult your doctor as it may intensify the behavior of the medication or counteract it, making it seem as you did not take it. You might want to use the CBD oil as a supplement or help with other issues, these are different things and as such requires different doses; check with your doctor to see if he can advise which dose is ideal for whichever purpose you choose.

CBD Hemp Oil is found at the beginning of its journey through the modern era, although it has been used for thousands of years. Be sure to research the brand you are going to consume and what you are going to use it for. It is amazing that something that has been used for so long as a medicine, is practically unknown to the medicine of modern society.
