All Natural Health For Families

I would like to share with you today some of my favorite lavender essential oil recipes, and the reason I chose lavender is because it  provides the majority of people the most benefits. You will also find this is one of the most affordable as well, so no matter what your budget might be most people can afford to add this to their daily treatment plan. Another highly recommended oil which is helping many people is CBD hemp oil, and even though it is more expensive many people share this product is worth the price to them.

Lavender Essential Oil Recipes

According to DoTerra lavender is considered to be mild and usually does not cause skin sensitivity, so this means most people are not required to add a carrier oil when using this essential oil. You can add water or a carrier oil with lavender to dilute its scent, and this also is recommended for people with any sensitive skin problems if they want to be safe.

  • Diffuser
  • Inhale
  • Spray
  • Massage
  • Apply Directly To Your Skin

Maybe I am a worry wart, but I prefer to add my lavender oil to my all natural skin lotions when applying directly on my skin. You can also mix lavender with your favorite carrier oil, but if you decide to take the risk and apply directly on your skin I recommend you apply it on the bottom of your feet to be safe. You can also add a few drops on your pillow before going to bed, and you also can purchase lavender essential oil recipes already mixed in a blend.

Spray Recipes

This lavender spray recipe I found on Martha Stewart’s website, so if you are experiencing sleep problems this spray is perfect for applying to your pillows and sheets on your bed. I recommend lavender essential oil recipes to be an awesome safe remedy for anyone who suffers sleep problems, I have experienced the calming and sleep improvement myself by using this recipe.

Combine a lavender tea with lavender-infused witch hazel. First, make a lavender tea by boiling the water and pouring it over the lavender flowers. Allow lavender to brew — you’ll want it to steep for 20 to 30 minutes.

Put witch hazel into your spray bottle and add the essential oil. Then, when the lavender tea is cool, strain it into the bottle. Place the cap on and shake well to blend the ingredients.

You can store it in the refrigerator for up to six months. Shake well before each use.
